The Tokyo Sky Tree is a broadcasting and observation tower in Japan situated in Sumida, Tokyo. Its has restaurants, stores to shop at and an aquarium. It is the tallest tower in Japan replacing Tokyo Tower. It is also the tallest tower in the world replacing Canton tower in China and the tallest structure in the world only second to the Burj Khalifa in Dubai,UAE.
I went there like twice, the first time it was tooo misty that we weren’t allowed up to the observation desk. But the second time, the weather was perfect and it was worth the watch.
And the elevator ride is pretty fascinating while you reach the 350th floor which is also 350m from ground. This is where the observation desk is and a special mention to the interiors of the elevator very nicely designed which you can enjoy if its not crowded in the sardine packed Japanese way.
And more pictures of the panorama view of Tokyo from up there.
The aquarium is worth a visit too especially if you love fish, like to see the trillion different ways in which they exist and also they have cute attention seeking penguins.
